Capital Cardiology Associates
, the trusted authority in cardiovascular health in the Capital Region, is actively seeking an experienced and compassionate Cardiology Triage Nurse to support our patients in our Albany office.

As a Cardiology Phone Triage Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient concerns, providing timely medical advice, and coordinating care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will use your clinical expertise to evaluate symptoms, educate patients, and determine the appropriate course of action. You will also collaborate closely with our cardiology team to ensure that patient care is seamless and comprehensive.

• Perform phone triage for patients with cardiovascular symptoms, answering questions and providing clinical guidance.
• Evaluate patient symptoms, medical history, and concerns to determine the need for further intervention, appointments, or urgent care.
• Provide education to patients on cardiology conditions, medications, lifestyle modifications, and preventative care.
• Document patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.
• Work collaboratively with cardiologists and the healthcare team to ensure patients receive the best care possible.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families, offering guidance and comfort when needed.
• Assist in coordinating follow‑up care and appointments for patients as needed.

• Current Registered Nurse license in NYS
• A year of previous experience in cardiology or phone triage nursing strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular conditions, treatments, and medications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and clear guidance over the phone.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage urgent situations calmly.

Hourly rate: $40–$42/hour based on experience and qualifications.
