WE ARE GROWING! ACAP is currently seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join our Building & Energy Services team.

This role will have the responsibility to gain a general understanding of general maintenance functions on the buildings, grounds, and equipment of the company sites and is responsible for the monitoring and completion of daily tasks, work orders, and inspections as required. This position will work closely with the department’s leadership team and staff, site supervisors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure that maintenance, equipment, facilities upkeep, and repair needs are being met.

This is a Full-time, In-person position. Starting pay rate is $22.83 per hour; 30 hours per week;
Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 1:30 pm;
Occasional schedule flexibility is needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

A high school or General Education Diploma (GED) and four (4) years of experience in maintenance or trade experience is required. Valid driver’s license required. Must be 18+ years old. Demonstrated skill sets in the use and general maintenance of hand, power, and motorized tools, and other motorized equipment is a must. Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Essential

duties include:
  • General understanding of work orders, general maintenance functions on the buildings, grounds, and equipment of the company sites.
  • Monitoring and completion of daily tasks and work orders, including maintenance, repairs, inspections, or moving services for identified facilities and grounds.
  • Proper storage and accounts for inventory of program tools, equipment, supplies, and materials.
  • Coordinating and overseeing site inspections for equipment and a variety of monitoring systems.
  • Performing maintenance on small equipment and notifying the appropriate supervisor of the need for tool, equipment, or vehicle maintenance repairs.
  • Assist program team with planned activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of light repair techniques, through participation in training programs for new processes and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires outside work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Heavy physical work – regularly required to walk, move heavy objects using dollies, climb, lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance. Required to kneel, stoop, bend, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be able to use tools and machinery to perform job functions such as assembling items, adjusting equipment, and repairing equipment.
  • Typical exposure to interior environmental conditions like air conditioning and dust; no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to complete written reports, work orders.
