Utility Worker

Join a winning team: SGA Lists is hiring Utility Workers, Cleaners, Porters, Warehouse Workers for our Capital District Partners.

Locations include:
Albany, Saratoga Springs, Clifton Park, Schenectady, Lake George, Hudson Valley. Many facilities, venues, and corporations are on the bus line. Multiple shifts are available, including weekends.

SGA Lists, LLC is a workforce solutions staffing group based in Saratoga Springs, NY. We are seeking Utility Workers to join our team in the Capital District and help support our clients by providing excellent service to guests. The ideal candidates will demonstrate an enthusiastic attitude towards serving guests and co-workers.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the premises.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms, events, and company functions.
• Monitor and restock supplies in various areas, including restrooms and breakrooms.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department.
• Assist in basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor repairs.
• Support facility security by ensuring all doors and windows are properly secured at the end of each workday.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues and follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
• Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned by management.

• Must have weekend availability.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or related roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Good communication skills and a cooperative attitude.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Reliable and punctual.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to cleaning chemicals.
