The nature of this role is to help prevent damages. The Damage Prevention Specialist works as a liaison to the homeowner, contractor, and cable company.

• Practice safe dig practices in accordance to 811 dig law
• Visit active job sites in a company provided vehicle to communicate to contractors or homeowners about safe dig practices in accordance to 誛 ldëwd law
• Facilitate fiber and coax marking corrections and updates as needed

• Provide quality checks on utility markings
• Accurately complete detailed documentation of daily activities
• Assist | , in identifying marked utilities, structures,&set etc. in the field
• Perform operator level maintenance on assigned company tools and equipment as required
• Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in utility location/damage prevention is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with contractors, homeowners, and stakeholders
• Work outdoors under the full range of weather conditions typically experienced throughoutроз seasons of the year
• Valid driver’s license
• Familiarity with 811 dig laws and safe excavation practices is preferred, but training will be provided
