Location: City of Albany
Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of post-graduate legal experience is required.
- Experience investigating and/or litigating civil rights matters and/or law enforcement or governmental misconduct.
- Knowledge of civil rights law and law enforcement practices, procedures, and reforms.
- Strong writing, organizational, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A demonstrated commitment to public service.
- Applicants must reside in (or intend to soon become a resident of) New York state and be admitted to practice law in New York state.
- In addition, the Public Officers Law requires that OAG attorneys be citizens of the United States.
- A two (2) year commitment upon being hired is a condition of employment.
