We are looking for an exceptional attorney to join our Commercial Legal team. You will be the attorney responsible for a variety of cutting‑edge commercial transactions that will set precedent for the crypto industry, working in full partnership with our Business Development team.

• Negotiate first‑of‑the‑ir kind, highly‑tailored agreements with strategic partners and sophisticated counter parties in the finance, payments, and digital currency space.
• Provide practical advice on legal issues and risks and drive complex agreement structures.
• Effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Business Development, Product/Engineering, Finance/Tax, Compliance) and legal colleagues to solve problems, build partnerships, and close complex deals quickly.
• Develop scaled strategies for addressing risk in business‑centric ways and build commercial processes for Business Development, strategic sourcing, and vendor management that facilitate business flexibility and accelerate deal timelines.
• Look around corners and creatively solve problems for the business as they plan, build, and execute their transactional and product roadmap.
• Be a trusted business partner and leader across the team.

• Current license in a U.S. state or international jurisdiction with JD or applicable equivalent, with 12 or more years of relevant transactional experience in‑house or at a leading law firm.
• Interest in digital currency and blockchain technology.
• Excellent commercial drafting and negotiation skills, judgment, analytic rigor, and business pragmatism.
• Experience structuring complex transactions and commercial agreements with strategic partners in the tech, payments, and/or finance space.
• Management and leadership experience.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves (no job too big, no job too small).
• Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., Libre Chat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human‑in‑the‑loop practices to deliver business‑ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.

• Experience in the crypto or fintech industry.

Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below. Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility and benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):

$302,090—$355,400 USD
