IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst
Location: City of Albany

Qualifications:
- Level II
- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Tester - Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience: in quality assurance managing testing across multiple high-profile projects, with complex functional domains, within a matrix organization.
- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience test automation including building framework, scripting test cases, execution and reporting results.
Qualifications:
- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience developing test plans and test cases, tracking defects and developing automated tests in Agile/Scrum environment
- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience leading and managing functional test planning, test execution and defect resolution activities
- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience with automated testing using tools such as Selenium or Katalon Studio or related tools.
- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience using Jira, Xray Test Management, or related Jira plug-ins as the defect tracking and test management tools.
- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience in java scripting or related programing languages within the context of developing automated test script solutions
- More than one (1) year of experience in quality assurance of projects related to Human Services domain applications
- This qualification is a plus but not necessary. No BA experience will not reduce the applicant's score, but having the experience could increase it. Between two (2) and four (4) years of Business Analysis experience including: conducting and leading requirements gathering sessions, analyzing requirements gathered, documenting and validating system requirements and creating requirements artifacts including: business process flows, use cases, business rules catalogs and data dictionaries
Working for the QA Lead, the QA will:
Develop test plans, test cases, test automation and perform test execution;
Conduct defect resolution, tracking and reporting;
Assist with and coordinate user acceptance testing, performance testing, and vulnerability testing activities;
Adhere to the IES Program Level testing strategy, quality assurance processes, artifacts and tools;
Assist with establishment of schedules and estimates;
Develop automated testcases and scripts;
Report project activities to management, including progress, issues, risks, mitigations, resolutions, successes, and lessons learned;
Understand and adhere to project timelines and priorities;
Work with blended teams of State and vendor resources.
IES will interview at least the top five highest scoring candidates. In this instance should none of the top five candidates be found to provide the best value to the State, IES will request to interview all candidates who are deemed susceptible based on technical and cost evaluations.
