Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Level 3 Project Manager our Health Research Inc. Team located in Albany, NY .

Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent will serve as the DOH project manager for implementation of modifications to the current Electronic Disease Surveillance System (EDSS). This would include: (a) developing proficiency with the current Communicable Disease Electronic Surveillance System (EDSS) and related data; (b) soliciting requirements to identify necessary changes to the current EDSS; (c) documenting feedback from program and Local Health Departments (LHDs); (d) documenting and tracking progress in implementing the required changes, and (e) other applicable tasks.

The incumbent must create appropriate documentation of code repositories and technical design documents, release management process including technical steps to promote, test and release through the development environment, coordinating with EDSS Manager and infrastructure staff.
  • This position requires at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent from an accredited institution. A copy of the degree must be submitted with the Candidate Proposal Response.
  • 6 years' acting as a project manager for complex application development projects throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • 6 years' experience managing complex infrastructure IT projects including all project phases: project origination, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 6 years' experience in facilitating and managing communication across both technical and non-technical stakeholder groups including executive-level sponsors.
  • 6 years' experience using project management tools, MS Project in documenting all phases of a project, work breakdown structure, risks, issues, execution /implementation, quality control and project closeout.
  • 6 years' experience in business process analysis and related documentation, including requirements gathering, use case documentation, workflow diagramming.
  • 6 years' experience working in the Public Sector on projects utilizing sensitive data, within the Health Care industry where HIPAA and Protected Health Information (PHI) regulations exist.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $55.00 and $60.00.
