Database Administrator
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to support the development, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise applications for government agency systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands‑on expertise in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL development, performance tuning, and scripting within large‑scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle-based applications
- Develop and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports applications
- Write and optimise PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
- Perform SQL performance tuning and database optimisation
- Develop and test scripts across multiple Oracle database versions
- Support application deployments and ongoing system maintenance
- Conduct technical Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Value (POV) initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support enterprise and government systems
- 7+ years of experience developing applications using Oracle Forms and Reports (v9, v10)
- 7+ years of experience working with government agencies, preferably transportation‑related agencies
- 7+ years of experience developing with PL/SQL, SQL

, and ETL tools, including writing stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers - 7+ years of experience performing SQL performance tuning and conducting POC/POV initiatives for government agencies
- 5+ years of experience programming applications in UNIX, NT, and PC environments
- 7+ years of experience developing and testing scripts in Oracle 8i, 9i, and 10g environments
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams
Compensation: $70.00 per hour
