Job OverviewSeeking an Expert-level Systems Analyst to support the Legally Exempt Facility Application and Management System (LE FAMS) for a New York State agency. The role focuses on re-engineering paper-based processes into a modern .NET web application and working closely with business and technical teams.
Responsibilities- Analyze and document business requirements and rules
- Re-engineer paper processes into web-based .NET solutions
- Create technical and business specifications
- Develop test plans, test cases; perform unit and regression testing
- Facilitate stakeholder and user meetings
- Collaborate with developers and project management to meet delivery timelines
- Maintain project documentation and support knowledge transfer
- 7+ years as a Systems Analyst
- Strong experience with .NET applications
- Test planning, execution, and validation experience
- Business requirements gathering and stakeholder facilitation
- SQL query writing for data extraction and validation
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required
- Microsoft technology stack
- VMware infrastructure
