Business Technology Senior Manager (Commercial Payments (Wire/RTP))

Key Bank is seeking a Business Technology Senior Manager to lead a team in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining technology platforms that deliver strategic technology and operational objectives for one or more lines of business.

• Manages a technology portfolio of greater complexity and breadth that requires frequent interaction and collaboration across a number of groups and technologies and generally includes one or more critical applications.
• Utilizes technology expertise, current industry knowledge and best practices, thought leadership and effective business partnerships to build, advocate for and maintain the technology strategy for one or more lines of business that delivers the business' strategic objectives and aligns to the enterprise's architectural standards. Brings emerging technologies and methodologies into the organization to assess potential use cases. Demonstrates thought leadership and continuous learning.
• Leads the implementation of one or more technology programs, some of which may span several years and may include obtaining senior-level (and sometimes executive level) sponsorship and steering committee approval; from the development and configuration of application(s), to testing and implementation; delivers in alignment with the applicable measures of success and milestones and management methodology; escalates risk/concerns appropriately and leads with corrective/mitigating actions;
  
  communicates appropriate updates on work progression.
• Oversees the management of 24/7 production support of applications including vulnerability remediation and risk management to corporate SLAs.
• Manages, develops and ensures the engagement and effective execution of a small to medium sized team which may include business analysts, project managers and/or scrum masters, engineers, developers, external resources and vendors against line of business or functional technology deliverables. Emerging as a leader for attracting and developing internal and external talent.
• Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
• Complies with all Key Bank policies and procedures, including, without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• OR equivalent experience (required)

• 10+ years of relevant experience (required)

• Expert knowledge of and the ability to consult on development and delivery of new or enhanced business applications.
• Extensive experience with the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and the ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
• Expert knowledge of marketplace experience, developments and trends related to the organization’s use of Information Technology (IT); ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to benefit the organization.
• Extensive experience with effective project management strategies and tactics and ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
• Extensive experience with effective agile project management strategies and tactics and ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
