We are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer who will support our NYS client with designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines while managing complex multi-agency environments. This role will require deep technical expertise in Salesforce Metadata API, Git workflows, and security configurations. The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce platform experience and proven leadership skills to mentor teams and establish governance frameworks across the Salesforce Center of Excellence.

• Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage environments, sandboxes, and version control (Git, branching strategies).
• Establish automated deployment, rollback, and release validation workflows.
• Coordinate sandbox refresh schedules and data seeding processes.
• Automate deployment approvals through integration with Salesforce CoE governance (Architecture Review Board).
• Maintain metadata and package management for multi-agency environments.
• Support “Tenant Management” and data isolation strategy across agencies.
• Integrate automated unit and regression testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with QA and Solution Architects to create reusable testing frameworks.
• Track release metrics (defect rates, success/failure ratios, deployment durations).
• Implement monitoring and alerting (e.g., Salesforce Shield).
• Work closely with Solution Architects, and Developers.
• Provide release readiness checklists, training, and handbooks for solution teams.
• Mentor new Dev Ops engineers during CoE scaling phases.

• 7+ years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Dev Ops Engineer.
• 7+ years of Dev Ops experience in Salesforce platform.
• 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Metadata API, Change Sets, Scratch Orgs, and Unmanaged Packages.
• 2+ years of experience in command of Git, YAML, and pipeline scripting.
• 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Security, Shield Encryption, and SSO configuration.
