Selected candidates are expected to work in Albany Office 2-3 days per week biweekly
Day-to-day tasks:- Gather and analyze new requirements from the Bureau of Special Hearings.
- Develop and implement enhancements to the SHIS application to align with evolving needs.
- Maintain and optimize Oracle Advanced Queueing and stored procedures related to FHARM integration.
- Generate ad-hoc reports to support hearing timeliness and compliance monitoring.
- Address system issues to maintain operational efficiency.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the SHIS application.
Develops and implements applications and programs for the backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations.
Expert- 84+ months:
Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. - 84 months experience developing and implementing multi-tier .NET applications leveraging ASP.NET (4.0 & above) MVC design pattern.
- 84 months experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure .NET web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and SOAP/Restful APIs.
- 84 months experience in Oracle designing relational databases, data modelling & deployment of SQL objects, PL/SQL coding and debugging, creating XML type stored procedures & packages, writing & testing complex SQL queries.
- 84 months experience in utilizing HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap an
- 72 months experience developing analytical and statistical reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- 60 months experience developing and utilizing Oracle Advanced Queuing.
- Bachelor's degree - Computer Science related field
