We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Automation Engineer who will support our NYS client. This role will be responsible for implementing Salesforce solutions that enable program capabilities such as case management, eligibility, and citizen engagement. The selected candidate will turn architectural blueprints into functional, high performing, and secure applications that meet the agency’s needs.

• Build automated workflows and business processes using Salesforce tools like Flows, Omni Studio, and custom code.
• Develop case management systems for tracking citizen requests, eligibility, and engagement.
• Integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs and middleware platforms like Mule Soft.
• Configure Public Sector Solutions to meet New York State agency needs.
• Design data models and security settings to protect sensitive information and ensure proper access.
• Turn technical designs into working applications that meet agency requirements.
• Lead technical teams and provide guidance on Salesforce best practices.
• Monitor and improve system performance to ensure applications run smoothly.

• 7+ years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as an Automation Engineer
• 7+ years of Salesforce development experience using various Salesforce products (e.g. Service Cloud, Data Cloud, CRM/Case Management etc)
• 3+ years of experience in configuring and customizing Salesforce solutions using declarative tools (Flows, Omni Studio, Validation Rules) and Apex/LWC where needed to automate business process and case management processes
• 6 months of experience in integrating Salesforce with other business applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, and middleware (Mule Soft and other API & integration platforms)
• 1 year of experience in Salesforce data model and security model
• 6 months of experience in configuring Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
• 6 months of experience in configuring case management for public sector
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer certificate
