Overview
Service Now Architect and Developer – Albany, New York
The Service Now Architect and Developer will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise Service Now solutions supporting large-scale government operations. This role requires deep expertise in the Service Now platform, including custom application development, platform architecture, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of secure, high-performing Service Now applications.
RequiredExperience
- 7 years of experience developing, implementing, and delivering applications on the Service Now platform.
- 3 years of experience creating and developing custom Service Now applications using:
App Engine Studio, UI Builder, Form Builder, Service Now Studio IDE. - 7 years of experience leading the technical design and implementation of Service Now solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, and adherence to best practices.
- 4 years of experience gathering and documenting user requirements, including conducting information-gathering sessions, facilitating requirements interviews and workshops, documenting current-state systems and processes, and defining future-state requirements.
- Serve as the technical architect for Service Now implementations and enhancements.
- Design and develop scalable, high-quality Service Now applications and integrations.
- Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Configure and customize Service Now modules, workflows, UI components, and automation.
- Ensure platform performance, security, and reliability in alignment with government standards.
- Support deployments, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of Service Now solutions.
- Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Service Now Certified Application Developer certification (required).
Compensation: $70.89 per hour
