Responsibilities- Research, Document and Guide the People Soft Infrastructure design/layout based on People Soft best practices for implementation on upgrade.
- Support Installation, configuration/application triage of the various software components of People Soft (weblogic, Tuxedo, Elastic Search, Oracle database) for new Peoplesoft required environments with latest technology stack
- Provide technical direction to meet business needs
- Work with other agencies and technical support teams in pursuit of technically excellent solutions
- Produce technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction
- Research, resolve, and test configurations
- Provide Research, Analysis and People Soft Application support for the current Legacy People Soft Applications
- Support the proposed Peoplesoft upgrade project as required
IT Specialist Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.
Qualifications- 84+ Months of system administration experience in Oracle's People Soft FSCM 8.8 or higher release. Where duties included installation, configuration, tuning, upgrade/patching, and perform code migrations in a Unix/Solaris/Linux environment.
- 84 Months of system administration experience utilizing People Soft People Tools 8.46 or higher, including installation, upgrading, patching, tuning/configuration.
- 84 Months experience in performing People Tools and People Soft application upgrades utilizing PUM and Change Assistant tools.
- 60 Months experience with Web Logic and Tuxedo including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, upgrading, and high availability (HA).
- 60 Months experience with Oracle 10g or higher database releases in creating and maintaining Peoplesoft databases
- Expert 84+ Months:
Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
