The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and managing multiple healthcare IT initiatives. This role requires strong coordination skills, the ability to work with both technical and clinical teams, and a deep understanding of healthcare IT systems, workflows, and data standards. The candidate will ensure effective communication, project tracking, documentation, user readiness, and successful project delivery from planning through go‑live.

Mandatory

Qualifications
  • 7 years of experience coordinating IT initiatives within healthcare operations or clinical settings, including:
    • Leading 3–5 IT implementation projects from initiation through go‑live.
    • Leading at least 2 data integration or system interface projects.
  • 7 years of experience conducting requirements‑gathering sessions or stakeholder workshops and coordinating technical resources (developers, architects, BAs) across 5 or more healthcare projects.
  • 3 years of experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles involving 10+ end users across at least 3 distinct business units.
  • 3 years of experience managing at least 2 initiatives involving integration or modification of healthcare IT systems such as:
    • Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
    • Practice Management systems
    • Patient Portals
    • Care Coordination platforms
    • Billing systems
  • 5 years of experience working with healthcare data standards and HIPAA Privacy & Security Rule requirements, including assessing their impact on system design for IT initiatives.
  • 7 years of experience leading go‑live preparation activities, including:
    • UAT planning and tracking
    • Training coordination
    • Cutover planning
    • Supporting successful go‑live for 5 or more healthcare IT projects
  • 5 years of experience creating and delivering presentations to operational leadership or clinical staff, including:
    • Translating technical specifications into operational process documents for 3+ systems
    • Delivering trainings or informational sessions for groups of 15+ healthcare staff
    • Writing system change communications or user guides consumed by 50+ end users
  • Educational Requirement:
    Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field.

Compensation: $53.00 per hour
