Billing Collector

Capital Cardiology Associates is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Collector to join our Billing team in the Albany office. This role offers the opportunity to contribute your skills and passion toward the well-being of our community.

• Handling incoming and outgoing patient telephone calls.
• Setting up payment arrangements, managing disputes, and performing account follow-up.
• Applying negotiation strategies with empathy.
• Establishing and meeting deadlines to generate collection recoveries.
• Updating and verifying information required for legal actions, as needed.
• Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years relevant experience
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Prior Medical Office experience is preferred
• Experience with Medical software and terminology a plus

• Monday through Friday remote schedule after training

• $20.00-$23.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
