Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of recent MRI experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Work in an MRI department providing magnetic resonance imaging services
• Work with a diverse patient population in an acute care setting
• 12.5 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Use of Epic EMR is required
• Medical documentation is required for flu vaccine exemptions; personal or religious declinations are not accepted
• Competency testing may be required depending on unit assignment
• More than 3 call outs during a 13-week contract may result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of last call out
• Requested time off must be submitted with the application
• Travelers may only apply to one position and travel pairs are not allowed
• Local candidates from specific counties within a 50-mile radius are not eligible

• Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI technologist experience
• Active NYS license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Epic EMR experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required;
  Canadian SIN not accepted
