Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Critical Care RN to join the Float Pool team at a Level I trauma center. RNs with ICU and trauma experience thrive in this role, providing care across multiple critical care environments. Travelers will float to various ICUs and manage ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement.
Responsibilities:
Care for critically ill patients in Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CCU, CPS/VICU, Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU), and ICU/PCC patients in the ED/PACU.
Provide safe, competent, and independent critical care nursing.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years ICU/critical care experience
Epic EMR experience required
BLS required; ACLS preferred
Ability to float and adapt to multiple ICU settings
Level I trauma experience highly preferred
