Receptionist, Healthcare

Overview

Albany ENT & Allergy Services is seeking a full-time Receptionist to join the team. You will be responsible for creating a positive first impression and providing a quality patient experience. Performing administrative and customer service-related tasks including check-in, appointment scheduling, and verifying insurance. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a customer service background. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow as a professional!

• Check-in patients and manage front desk operations with a focus on patient experience.
• Schedule and verify appointments.
• Verify insurance information and assist with patient data entry as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and effective communication with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a medical office preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including the ability to master the office’s software.
• Critical thinking skills, a positive attitude, and consistent professional conduct.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.

The compensation range for this position is $18.00 to $21.00. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, education, experience, and qualifications.
