Responsibilities- Conduct initial screening and/or intake activities for referred participants in need of harm reduction case management to evaluate participant needs
- Opioid Overdose Prevention Training
- Explain process and limitations of spectroscopy
- Utilize the spectrometer to analyze samples for clients receiving services at the main office
- Work with agency leadership to develop data tracking tools in accordance with agency and Department of Health guidelines
- Conduct syringe exchange to eligible participants as part of mobile outreach team
Drug Checking Technician Minimum Salary: $42,000
Drug Checking Technician Maximum Salary: $42,000
Drug Checking Technician Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:30 - 4:30
- High School Diploma and 2 years of outreach/case manager/casework experience
- Associate's Degree in Health, Education satellite or Human Services preferred
- Valid NYS Driver's License, Registration, and Insurance required
- Personal cell phone required
