We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for an on-site position located in Albany, NY. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic programs designed to improve patients’ performance in daily activities and overall quality of life. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for patients. You will work with a diverse population, including adults and possibly pediatric clients, to provide rehabilitation services that help them reach their full potential.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices, including the evaluation and development of treatment strategies
- Foundational knowledge in Medicine and Rehabilitation to address a variety of patient needs effectively
- Strong Communication skills for patient interactions and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Experience with Pediatrics-related therapy is beneficial
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New York
- Compassionate approach to patient care, with a focus on improving quality of life
