Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Sunday through Wednesday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM

• No on-call responsibilities

• Must be a graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate

• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice required

• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification required

• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (both stable and intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures

• Utilize specific CT modality to create diagnostic images and provide patients with a safe and positive experience

• Work in fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment

• Perform trauma and emergency room scanning

• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16

• Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances

• Entry level position with MIT level assigned based on skill set and experience
