A Cytotechnologist utilizes knowledge and anatomical laboratory experience to perform analyses of cytopathology specimens accurately and in a timely manner. The role involves aiding clinicians in disease detection, diagnosis, and monitoring treatment progress. This position requires independent judgment and responsibility, working under supervision of the director or NYSED licensed supervisor in Cytology/Cytopathology.
