Position: Audiologist – Albany, NY (2 days per week)

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Audiologist to perform comprehensive hearing tests on a part-time basis, two days a week—Mondays and Fridays—in our Albany office. The ideal candidate will conduct audiological evaluations, proficiently analyze data, and prepare detailed reports to support the evaluation of individuals applying for Social Security Disability or Compensation & Pension benefits. Audiologists with IMA have the opportunity to perform different types of audiology tests and exams.

The tests and exams depend on the line of business and the evaluation type requested.

Compensation
  • $20 per audiogram
  • $80 for a combined audiological evaluation and audiogram
Responsibilities
  • Medical Evaluations: Perform in-depth audiological assessments, including gathering audiometry and tympanometry evaluations of applicants.
  • Diagnostic Interpretation: Analyze and interpret diagnostic tests and medical data.
  • Report: Create a comprehensive medical report including accurate and complete descriptions of the applicant’s condition(s).
  • Data Submission: Utilize our user-friendly report generation platform to submit your report quickly and easily.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree.
  • Valid state audiology licensure and certification.
  • Proficiency in audiometric testing and evaluation.
  • Experience in a medical office setting or private practice is preferred.
