Medical Imaging Technologist III
Location: Albany, NY 12208
Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech – Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, includes a 30-minute break)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
Call Requirement: One weekday night per week and one weekend per month
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Current New York State registration or limited permit to practice in the State of New York
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Advanced certification as ARRT-CV or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory required
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular imaging procedures, patient care, and radiation safety
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment
