- Review data and clarify any queries with the client to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Maintain track of quotes and ensure timely communication to all stakeholders
- Prepare quotes using standard pricing tools and processes
- Prepare/assist with the treaty documentation process
- Collaborate with the business development team to understand clearly the client expectations and deliver quotes accordingly
- Desktop research to support the development of pricing assumptions
- Ad‑hoc data and analytical support to internal admin, UW, and claim functions
- Assist with user testing of pricing tools
- Assist with preparing data for internal MIS/reporting purposes

Job Summary:
- Develop pricing recommendations and/or reserving projections by performing analysis that involves retrieving, reviewing, and analyzing appropriate data and populating actuarial models
- Assist with analysis and implementation of changes to existing pricing models and/or reserving models as well as the development of enhancements to improve prediction accuracy
- Develop conclusions from data analysis and present results to stakeholders
- Perform deep‑dive data reviews that require analysis of trends, factors, and other data‑related issues to answer specific business questions
- Provide support for required filings and follow‑up questions from regulators or auditors related to pricing or reserving models
- Provide support for regulatory filings including state surveys, annual statements, supplemental healthcare exhibits, and MLR
- Assist in analyzing financial results, profitability, and forecasting
- Communicate and collaborate with internal business partners in other functional areas including product, finance, accounting, claims, IT, and senior management
- Analyze the impacts and benefits of new products and rating characteristics
- Identify and implement improvements to processes (spreadsheets, coding, etc.)
