The Plant Controller is responsible for ensuring that all corporate controls and guidelines are adhered to as required by a publicly held company.

• Proven analytical abilities, including strong accounting/financial, budgeting, business planning, and forecasting skills, with solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Self-starter capable of interacting closely with production, bidding, materials, and customer service, as well as the ability to identify and solve complex problems quickly
• Ability to develop and deliver clear and convincing presentations to senior management, peers, and co-workers
• Excellent written and verbal skills to interact with people at all levels and functions
• Ability to work with a large volume of detail, producing accurate results within aggressive deadlines
• Advanced level of computer skills in e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Proficient in MRP/ERP system skills
• Creative and innovative approach to problem resolution
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities
• Negotiation and conflict management skills
• Leadership skills—people management, meeting facilitation, and customer support
• Exceptional organization skills are required, with an emphasis on attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including working in a manufacturing environment

• Maintain compliance with government agencies

• Prior experience as a supervising Accounting Manager or Controller, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or 5 - 7 years of related experience
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
• Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills
