Location: City of Albany

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Administrator to provide comprehensive financial and administrative support to the CFO. This role is critical in ensuring smooth financial operations, accurate reporting, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the CFO with day-to-day financial management and administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence for the CFO.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience) a plus, sufficient experience may substitute.
  • 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting administration, preferably in property or real estate.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, reporting, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and financial software (e.g., Quick Books, Yardi, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
