Tax Associate – On‑Site, Seasonal

Overview: Intuit seeks motivated individuals to serve as Turbo Tax Live Seasonal Local Service Associates. These associates provide full‑service tax preparation, advice, and community outreach at on‑site Turbo Tax locations across the United States. You will advise customers in person and virtually, ensuring accurate tax returns and fostering long‑term client relationships in alignment with Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”

• Provide Tax Expertise: Offer hands‑on advice and complete tax return preparation for both simple and complex returns (personal, business, amendments, etc.). Conduct discovery sessions, uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and deliver future planning advice.
• Community Ambassador: Act as the face of Turbo Tax within the local community, nurturing leads, organizing events, and converting prospects into loyal customers.
• Educate & Communicate: Lead learning events, participate in marketing initiatives, and demystify taxes for the public.
• Build Relationships: Show empathy and understanding of customers’ financial concerns to build long‑term trust.

  Interact both in‑person and via video tools, address inquiries, and help clients overcome tax challenges.

• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law.
• At least 2 years paid experience filing ≥30 federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willingness to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a Turbo Tax location.
• Interest in building a local and online presence adhering to Intuit policies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.

Base pay ranges vary by location:

• Bay Area, CA: $23.70–$28.00 per hour
• Southern California: $23.70–$28.00 per hour
• Colorado: $22.60–$26.70 per hour
• Hawaii: $23.70–$28.00 per hour
• Illinois: $22.60–$26.70 per hour
• Massachusetts: $23.70–$28.00 per hour
• New Jersey: $23.70–$28.00 per hour
• New York: $23.70–$28.00 per hour
• Ohio: $20.20–$23.90 per hour
• Vermont: $22.60–$26.70 per hour
• Washington: $23.70–$28.00 per hour
• Washington D.C.: $22.60–$26.70 per hour

Eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits per Intuit plans. Pay is based on experience, skills, and location.
