A well-established public accounting firm in Albany is seeking a Tax Manager to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tax professional who thrives in a collaborative, supportive, and growth-focused environment.
What You’ll Do:- Manage and review tax returns (individuals, partnerships, corporations, pass-throughs)
- Oversee multiple engagements, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Provide tax planning, consulting, and advisory support
- Serve as a primary client contact and build long-term relationships
- Mentor and develop staff and senior tax professionals
- Research and resolve complex tax issues, staying current on tax law changes
- CPA or EA (active or expected post–April 15)
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state taxation
- Experience reviewing returns and managing engagements preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
💰 Competitive salary: $85K–$110K + bonus opportunities
