Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paraplanner to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will assist financial advisors in developing comprehensive financial plans for clients, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared accurately and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with financial advisors to gather client information and assess their financial needs.
- Prepare detailed financial plans, including estate planning, asset management, and wealth management strategies.
- Conduct research on financial products and services to support client recommendations.
- Utilize financial software to create reports and analyze data related to client portfolios.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for client meetings, ensuring all materials are accurate and professionally formatted.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow up on outstanding tasks as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial planning.
- Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter, or Chartered Financial Consultant designation required for top of pay range consideration
- Previous experience in financial planning.
- Proficiency in financial software applications and tools used for analysis and reporting.
- Strong math skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Knowledge of estate planning, asset management, public accounting, and wealth management principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
- Competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 based on experience and additional bonus opportunities
