Municipal Water & Wastewater Project Manager – New York State

We invite you to bring your experience in successful project management of preliminary and final design, bidding and construction phase services for municipal water and wastewater projects into play as you implement projects within the Water Market Sector in NYS and the Northeast region with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations, solids treatment and master planning.

To succeed in this role you must have 10+ years’ experience in the design of complex municipal water and wastewater systems.

• Manage people and projects, and generate new business with clients.
• Contribute to the sustainable financial growth of Ramboll and develop followership.

• Implement projects within the Water Market Sector in NYS and surrounding Northeast region with a focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations, solids treatment and master planning.

• Strong technical background and experience in design, evaluation and construction of water and wastewater treatment and pumping facilities.
• Proven project leadership, project management (scope, schedule, and budget) and mentoring skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated successful track record in exceptional client services.
• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license in New York required with ability to obtain multiple licenses through reciprocity.

Strong personnel development skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to function effectively in a variety of roles on integrated project teams.
