Stationary Engineer

Our client, a leader in critical environment management, is seeking an Operating Engineer 3 to join their team. As an Operating Engineer 3, you will be part of the Facilities Operations supporting critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance for all facility systems, ensuring continuous operation and compliance with standards

+ Adjust and maintain refrigeration, chilled water, air conditioning, boilers, ventilators, hot water heaters, pumps, valves, piping, filters, and other mechanical/electrical equipment

+ Conduct regular rounds, record readings, and make adjustments to ensure proper equipment operation; analyze system performance and resolve malfunctions

+ Install and repair plumbing, piping, and wiring; rebuild/install pumps, air compressors, heat exchangers, bearings, seals, filters, and controls

+ Operate and maintain critical equipment including UPS systems, generators, chillers, and air conditioning units

** What's Needed?*
* + Hands-on experience in a data center or critical facility environment, including UPS systems, emergency generators, and switch gear equipment

+ High school diploma or GED equivalent

+ Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent

+ Universal Technician certification for CFCs

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational and analytical abilities
