CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our Environmental Team in Albany, NY
, where you will play a key role in advancing geotechnical engineering projects. This is your chance to grow professionally while working alongside talented professionals evaluating soil, bedrock, and groundwater to ensure the success of critical infrastructure.

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for geotechnical engineering projects
• Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates
• Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for optimizing sustainability
• Perform field assignments related to subsurface explorations, instrumentation, and construction observation

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or related field required
• No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
• Strong theoretical knowledge in engineering field
• Familiarity with geotechnical engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, Micro Station, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
• Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
