OverviewThe Quality Manager will lead the quality management system, ensuring compliance with AS9100/AS13100, internal and customer audits, corrective actions, change control, and documentation control. This role is responsible for developing and coaching a high‑performing team of Quality Engineers and ensuring the department is responsive to organizational and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the quality management system, maintain compliance with all external requirements (customer, AS9100, etc.)
- Conduct internal and external audits, oversee customer complaints, corrective actions, change control, MRB submittals, and non‑conformances
- Develop and coach a high‑performing team of Quality Engineers
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and robustness of processes
- Ensure the Quality System is reviewed regularly and procedures and processes are optimized
- Support production and engineering changes by ensuring compliance and deploying qualification and control plans
- Establish training plans, targets for critical jobs, and oversee training and cross‑training plans
- Provide metrics and testing status to other departments (shipping, planning, operations)
- Manage staffing levels and requirements
- Complete Accident Investigation forms for incidents within the department
- Implement safety countermeasures and perform root cause analysis to improve plant safety
- Adhere to all site safety policies and procedures
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. B.S. in Engineering or a science field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, aerospace manufacturing a plus.
- Experience in a leadership role preferred.
- Critical thinking, strong problem‑solving skills, ability to comprehend and interpret specifications.

- Customers – audit participation, customer complaint management
- Suppliers – audit participation, non‑conformance and corrective action reporting
- Office environment and manufacturing areas
- Sitting/standing for extended periods, able to lift up to 20 lbs, extended use of a computer screen
- Travel 5‑10%
- Required PPE – safety glasses, steel toe shoes
- Day Shift – Monday‑Friday
- Salaried
U.S. person status is required for this position in order to comply with the Arms Export Control and Export Administration Act. This role is open for full‑time management with compensation commensurate with experience.
