Base pay range: $115,000 – $150,000 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience)

EFI Global is a full‑service engineering, fire investigation, environmental, health and safety, and specialty consulting firm. We specialize in forensic engineering, structural damage assessment, and failure analysis for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.

• Conduct investigations to determine root causes of structural failures, storm, roof, and building envelope damage.
• Survey property, casualty, and liability losses at residential and commercial sites.
• Produce detailed reports, drawings, and evidence for client use and court testimony.
• Provide expert testimony in courts and depositions.
• Document and maintain billable hours with time and expense tracking.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, architects, developers, and attorneys to develop service demand.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers on complex assignments.
• Estimate project scope, timelines, and costs for the professional services offered.
• Work closely with EFI’s national forensic experts to share insights and support projects.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in your state of residence (multi‑state licensing or active NCEES record is a plus).
• Relevant experience in structural failure analysis and forensic investigations.
• Background in expert witness testimony is a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
