Mechanical Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, particularly in HVAC and Controls, as well as proficiency in design tools and effective problem-solving skills.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of MEP systems, focusing on building-related mechanical systems such as HVAC and Controls.
• Utilize experience in commercial building design to contribute to various projects.
• Independently address and resolve diverse mechanical engineering challenges.
• Actively participate in design reviews, contributing valuable insights and recommendations.
• Prepare and analyze reports, maps, studies, drawings, and photos to support project objectives.
• Conduct site visits to document and verify project conditions.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, agencies, and contractors to ensure project alignment.

• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical engineering/design experience.
• License: PE License is highly desired.
• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Proficient in design layout and specification writing.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, clients, architects, and subconsultants.

• Strong expertise in HVAC systems and Controls.
• Experience with design tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Blue Beam.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and project execution.
