This leading engineering firm is expanding its Transportation Team in New York and is seeking a Transportation Planner. In this position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, spearhead project development, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety in engineering work. Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning and execution of multimodal transportation projects
- Manage and mentor a team of planners and analysts
- Coordinate with public agencies, consultants, and community stakeholders
- Oversee transportation studies, modeling, and policy development
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership, boards, and the public
- Bachelor's or Master's in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in transportation planning, with leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of transportation systems, modeling tools, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
- Experience with GIS, travel demand modeling, and data visualization tools
