Location: City of Albany
The 5-12 Summer School Principal/Administrator is directly responsible to the high school principal for the 9-12 program and to the middle school principals for the 5-8 program. The dates for this program will be determined. The 5-12 Summer School Principal/Administrator is responsible for planning, staffing, implementing, supervising, coordinating and evaluating the 5-12 Summer School Program. These activities require workdays beyond the summer school session.
Following the completion of the program, the principal/administrator will be required to submit teacher evaluations and a written report to the Superintendent with recommendations for the following year.
New York State certification in SAS, SDA or SBL or eligibility for administrative internship.
Evidence of at least three years of successful teaching experience.
CompensationThe compensation for this position is $8,370.00 as per the Board of Education Policy 9290.
