Occupational Therapist 1.0 FTE
With a population of approximately 300 students, Menands School is a unique Pre-K-8 school and district. We are a very supportive school community, and work collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of our students in a nurturing environment.

Menands School is looking to fill an anticipated opening for a full-time Occupational Therapist/Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work with students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding and respect for children and families from diverse backgrounds, and a strong knowledge of school-based therapy. Preference will be given to candidates with experience and/or a strong desire for working with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities.

Applicants must possess NYS OTR/L or COTA certification. Qualified, interested candidates should submit via OLAS a job specific cover letter, resume and other supporting documentation.

The Menands Union Free School District— better known as Menands School—serves approximately 300 students in Pre-K through eighth grade. The school district pays tuition for an additional 130 Menands students in ninth through 12th grades to attend one of four area high schools. A small public school district with a long history and a focus on community involvement.
