Lecturer, Management - Massry School of Business - University at Albany

The Massry School of Business at the University at Albany, State University of New York, seeks candidates for a non-tenure track position as Lecturer of Management. This position will be within the Department of Management, which is responsible for undergraduate and graduate level (MBA) education in our AACSB-accredited management, entrepreneurship, and human resources concentrations. Our faculty are well-regarded scholars across a diverse set of research areas, and dedicated educators committed to high-impact, student-centered teaching.

Candidates should be willing to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in management with an emphasis on business strategy and strategic management. This position will assume responsibility of Massry's undergraduate capstone course program and facilitate its design and implementation across multiple course sections, including supporting other adjunct professors teaching within the curriculum. We are especially interested in candidates with an interest in and/or prior experience with instructing business strategy courses.

Further, candidates with an interest or prior experience in academic program development and coordination of high-impact, high-visibility, and/or experiential classroom experiences are strongly encouraged to apply. This position has an expected 3-3 teaching load. This position is eligible for periodic review and reappointment for up to three (3) year terms, following a first-year annual evaluation.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating design and implementation of undergraduate capstone course (Strategic Management)
• Overseeing capstone course instruction as provided by lecturers / adjuncts / other faculty
• Providing rigorous instruction in undergraduate and graduate courses
• Contributing service to the Department, School, University, community, and our broader profession
