About the Role:
New York Oncology Hematology, based at our brand new main campus opening in 2027, is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join a forward‑thinking cancer care team that blends community‑based practice with academic collaboration. This role offers the opportunity to treat a full spectrum of disease sites, with a particular emphasis on gynecologic oncology and radiopharmaceutical therapies. Physicians will work within a multidisciplinary environment that values innovation, supports participation in clinical research, and provides opportunities for teaching, with support from physicists, APPs, and dosemitrists onsite.
The practice offers a strong network of specialty partners and access to modern treatment technologies, allowing providers to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered cancer care across the Capital Region.

Base Salary Range: between $400,000 - $525,000 annually
About the Practice and their Mission:
New York Oncology Hematologyis a large multi-specialty group in upstate New York with six cancer centers around New York State's Capital Region. We have various opportunities, including employment at large comprehensive cancer centers to small quaint rural offices. As part of our practice, we provide subspecialty oncology, hematology, stem cell, neuro-oncology, GYN oncology, mobile PET, and Women's Imaging. We are a progressive group and one of the few non-academic sites accredited to perform CAR-T therapy in the United States.
Although a private practice, we are the sole hematology/oncology care providers at Albany Medical Center, the largest tertiary care/ academic center in eastern upstate NY. As a part of our association, our providers have academic appointments and are proud teachers of medical students and residents. We have a robust research department with phase 1-3 trials (NRG access). Most importantly, our organization prides itself on our providers' exceptional quality and the care they have delivered to thousands of patients yearly.
