Outpatient with Limited Inpatient Consults New Grads:
Yes Opportunity: A leading regional cancer program in the Capital Region of New York is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join its growing team. This position offers an excellent mix of outpatient and inpatient consultative work in a collaborative, well-supported environment with a strong APP and hospitalist infrastructure. Highlights:
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Setting:
Primarily outpatient, with inpatient consults only Patient Volume:
- Physicians see 15-18 patients per day (option for higher volume if desired) - APPs see 10-12 patients per day Inpatient Coverage:
- Average hospital census: 20-30 patients daily - 1:5 call rotation (transitioning to 1:7 as recruitment expands) - Hospitalists handle admissions and inpatient APPs manage follow-up care After hours Call:
One weeknight block every 5 weeks Weekend Call:
Friday-Sunday every 5 weeks EMR:

Guaranteed Annual Base Salary:
