Dentist

We are currently seeking a Dentist to join our client in the Albany, NY area. Our client is one of the leading dental practices who strive to serve their patients with compassion, kindness, and professionalism. Their team members stay on top of their game by keeping up on the ever- changing technology, attending continuing education courses and leadership development meetings.

Dentists perform a range of tasks related to oral health care, including diagnosis, treatments, and preventive education. Their primary responsibility is to maintain the dental health of their patients and to educate them about good oral hygiene.

They have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Evaluate the dental health of patients
• Diagnoses and treat oral diseases, such as cavities and gum conditions
• Perform restorative procedures like fillings, crowns, and bridges
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests to determine treatment strategies
• Administer anesthetics to keep patients from feeling pain during procedures
• Prescribe medications to help treat dental diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various aspects of preventive dental care
• Design, make, and fit prosthodontic appliances such as space maintainers, bridges, and dentures, or write fabrication instructions or prescriptions for denturists and dental technicians

• DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school
• Current NY dental license and DEA certification
• A strong passion for patient care and clinical excellence
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics.
