Key Responsibility:
Snow Removal/Salt Application for Facility Grounds Readiness
Remove snow and apply salt to all designated walkways after each precipitation event 2 inches or less of snow and/or ice priority areas listed below).
Service and Event Readiness:
Sunday services and church events are the highest priority and must be prepared in advance based on the following usage times:
Sunday worship services: ready by 8:00 a.m.
Tuesday – Friday Office: ready by 10:00 a.m.
New Members Class on designated Saturday: ready by 8:30 a.m.
Funerals: completed one hour prior to visitation (typically 9:00 or 10:00 a.m.)
Other special services as needed
Snow Removal and Salting Priority Areas
- Clear path from Pastor’s parking area to the Main Entrances
- Clear path between handicapped parking spaces and first row of parked vehicles to the Main Entrances
- Clear walkways surrounding both front entrances to the church
- Clear walkway along the front side of the building along the hedges
- Clear walkway along the south side entrance of the building to the side door
- Clear walkways between parking lot spaces (creating a walking path between parked cars to sidewalk)
