Base pay range$24.00/hr - $26.00/hr
We are seeking a Member Service Associate to join our team! In this vital role, you will serve as the voice of our organization, providing exceptional service to members while responding to member outreach for transactions, research, problem resolution and technical assistance. Your positive and professional approach will help foster strong relationships, promote financial products, and ensure smooth operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in financial services and customer relationship management while making a positive impact on our member credit unions.
This on-site position requires you to reliably commute to Alloya's Albany, NY office daily. Your standard working hours are 10:15 am to 6:45 pm, Monday through Friday. During your first eight weeks (training period), your hours will be 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities- Assist members with first‑level product support utilizing active listening skills and service level standards to provide solutions to members
- Document call information and open tickets as needed by gathering all necessary information to ensure proper handling
- Maintain in‑depth knowledge of products and services as well as applicable procedures, laws and regulations
- Cross‑sell products as appropriate and provide lead information to account owners
- Two‑year college degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience (3‑5 years) in customer service or call center environments with a focus on financial services
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new technology quickly
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to build rapport and manage customer relationships effectively
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
