GPI is seeking a Construction Inspector (NICET III) in our Albany Branch. In this role, the individual will perform NICET III duties for the Replacement of the Livingston Avenue Railroad Bridge over the Hudson River.

• Ensure contractor's work conforms to the provisions of the contract documents.
• Provide Construction Quality Assurance for a Design‑Build Project.
• Construction Quality Control will be the responsibility of the Design‑Builder.
• Perform detailed inspection, on‑site field testing of materials and other construction activities as necessary, including data collection for monthly audits, and final estimates and progress reports.
• Verify the As‑built Plans.
• Keep all records in accordance with the Manual of Uniform Record Keeping (MURK), including Site Manager and EBO.
• Spot‑check the Design‑Builder’s CI firm for conformance with the contract documents.

• NICET III Certification required.
• ACI Concrete Testing, NETTC Soils and Aggregate Testing, and OSHA 10 Certifications required.
• Proficient with MURK, Site Manager, and EBO.
• Experience with NYSDOT Construction Inspection.
• Design‑Build Experience with NYSDOT preferred.
• 100% On‑site work.
