Senior Construction Manager

Construction Manager

Location is flexible as this role will be on a project site.

• Assist in development of plans, schedules, and work alongside other superintendents, supervisors, administrators on project related activities.
• Actively work with the Senior Construction Manager in the management of the overall project construction scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead the on-site project team management for smaller scale projects.
• Manage subcontractor contracts in coordination with the Senior Construction Manager.
• Assist Senior Construction Manager and Project Management teams with the change order process, including proper notification and supporting data gathering/organization for Project Manager review and processing.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Associate Construction Managers.
• Actively create a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.
• Serve as Project Site Safety Leader in absence of full time EHS Supervisor.
• Estimate cost of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to successfully manage change during a project.
• Assist in planning the execution of startup, commissioning, and closeout processes.
• Adhere to the policies and standards set forth in our quality management practices.

• At minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 7+ years of experience in a construction related field managing industrial engineering and construction projects.
• Ability to read plans, drawings, specifications and interpret data.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Project Scheduling and Job Costing.
• Knowledge and familiarity with construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means and methods.
• Travel required (75‑100%).
